A man plummeted 50ft down a waterfall drop after slipping while trying to take the perfect selfie on a slippery edge.
Footage of the fall was captured by a fellow visitor to the waterfall and shows the man hurtling to the ground.
The youth reportedly broke his pelvis in the terrifying plunge at the waterfall in the Gariaband District, India, on Saturday morning.
He remains in hospital recovering.
After slipping on the wet stone, he narrowly avoids seriously injuring another man standing at the bottom of the waterfall.
Local police have urged people to avoid taking life-threatening selfies.
The incident cames after dozens of people have lost their lives while taking selfies, since the picture-taking craze gripped the world.
