This shocking video shows the moment a drunken joyrider flips his partner's car onto its roof during a heart-stopping police chase.
Darren Lee, 43, had been drinking at a family party in July this year when he took his former girlfriend's car out for a joyride.
Police caught up with him a few minutes later on the A1, but the boozed-up driver refused to pull over and a pursuit at speeds of up to 85mph followed.
Lee can be seen swerving erratically across the A1 dual carriageway in the Vauxhall Tigra while flanked by two police cars - ramming one of them as he tries to escape.
However Lee's rampage comes to an end when his car is nudged by a police vehicle, causing him to lose control and career across the road into a barrier.
