The brazen thief, wearing a black baseball cap and sunglasses, is filmed using an implement to pry open the body of the machine to reveal the wiring.
Despite the obvious commotion, customers at the Wetherspoons branch, believed to be in Farringdon in central London, do nothing to stop him.
