The Russian army has unveiled a 55-tonne tank armed with a 12mm machine gun and capable of blitzing terrain in its path.
Created for helping to lay roads in difficult terrains, the huge armoured machine is based on the T-72 and T-90 battle tanks, also manufactured by UralVagonZavod.
The Russian army vehicles are said to have enough room inside for two crew members and three additional sappers, according to reports.
The state-of-the-art carrier was unveiled at the ARMY 2018 International Military-Technical Forum and Exhibition, held at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre near Moscow.
