A rugby league player waited three hours for his luggage at Manchester Airport - before spotting baggage handlers hurling passengers' cases on to a carousel.
Australian Daniel Mortimer was caught up in the baggage delays at Manchester Airport over the weekend after a number of flight delays.
Commenting on footage of luggage handlers throwing cases onto the carousel belt, the 29-year-old said: "5am this morning after waiting over 3 hours for our bags to make it from the plane to the carousel.. at least they took good care of our luggage. Thanks."
Mortimer, who played for Leigh Centurions until earlier month, travelled on a Ryanair flight back from Rome which was delayed and arrived at 2am on Saturday.
Baggage handlers Swissport told the Mirror the footage was “in line with manual baggage handling procedure”.
