A rat has been filmed running around a McDonald's restaurant before workers, armed with brooms, chased it outside.
The scampering rodent was filmed on Friday morning, and as customers took refuge in a seating area workers shooed the it towards the open doors.
Staff were able to chase the rat out of the restaurant, on Church Street, Croydon, a spokesman for the fast food chain told the Croydon Advertiser .
And after the footage was shared on social media, he confirmed pest control experts were called in immediately to ensure no other rodents were in the store.
