This is the gut-wrenching moment a nine-year-old boy was dragged down the road and thrown into a parked car by a hit-and-run rider.
The stolen moped failed to slow down after clattering into the child and even sped off as the victim was sent flying in Whitehawk Road, Brighton on Sunday lunchtime.
Harrowing footage shows the little boy being hit by the bike's front wheel, briefly being dragged along before being slammed head first along the road.
Sussex Police are hunting for the rider and pillion passenger who may be part of a gang of motorcycle thieves operating in the city.
The little boy was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious head injuries, but miraculously survived and has been discharged.
