Shocking footage shows the moment thugs hurled wheelie bins at police cars after a dramatic midnight pursuit.



Dozens of police cars, including dogs and armed police, swarmed the streets of Hull on Sunday morning after a man led officers on a chase.



But a gang can be seen picking up the giant bins and dragging them across the street, before throwing them at a police car as it bolts past.



The cops are forced to brake, but the yellow car they are chasing also comes to a stop - before the man inside rushes out, says the Hull Daily Mail.



As a police officer jumps out of the car to arrest the driver, he had to dodge a wheelie bin being thrown at him.
