Footage of man being detained following a hammer attack that took place at Stratford station in east London during rush-hour.
Onlookers said a man ‘whacked’ one of the victims with the tool ‘over a cigarette’ at Stratford tube station around 6am on Tuesday. Officers rushed to the scene and arrested a 26-year-old man from East Ham on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon, according to British Transport Police (BTP).
