A child has been attacked by a leopardess at a Moscow circus, the second mauling by a big cat in Russia in just ten days.
Reports say the unmuzzled beast lunged at a four-year-old girl’s neck as it was being walked on a leash outside the ring in Moscow.
The female predator knocked down the child then pulled her for around 6ft.
Amid screams from bystanders including children, a circus trainer then pulled the female leopard away and freed the unnamed young girl.
She suffered a “scratch to her neck” and she and her sister were treated for shock.
