Female mugger attacks woman at cashpoint as passers-by watch and do nothing

CCTV footage has shown the shocking moment a woman is mugged in broad daylight while numerous people walk by and do nothing.

The attack happened yesterday afternoon as the victim was getting money out of a cash machine in Leytonstone High Street, east London.



After sneaking up behind her target by pretending she is in a queue, the female attacker throws herself towards the woman and punches her in the head.



Shocked by the force of the attack, the victim is almost knocked to the floor as she attempts to defend herself.



The women grapple with each other for close to a minute, with the mugger spinning the pink headscarf wearing target around several times.



The aggressor slaps the woman who manages to pin her arm behind her as two bystanders walk past, stare and then stroll on without helping.
