This is the moment a man stabbed another man in the neck for “taking too long” in a queue at an Asda petrol station.
CCTV footage captured Jack Oldfield pulling out a knife from his pocket and slashing Robert Taylor, 30, who he believed made him wait too long while he chose a drink from the petrol station in Woodville, Derbyshire.
The shocking video shows Mr Taylor being confronted then stabbed by Oldfield outside the filling station shop – with police officer PC Kim Wheldon who had just finished refuelling her car at the garage merely yards away.
PC Wheldon swiftly detained Oldfield, 26, before calling for back up, Derby Crown Court was told.
Oldfield also had an imitation firearm on him, which he tried to dump in the police car after he was arrested, the Derby Telegraph reports.
