Eight people have died and 55 more were injured after a church's entire supply of fireworks exploded.
Around 1,500 fireworks set to be used for a celebration caused a massive blast during a religious procession.
The incident took place at around 6.30am during a parade in honour of the Virgin of Guadalupe in the town of Fuentezuelas, central Mexico.
Video footage shows the moment the churchgoers arrive in front of the church before a huge explosion stuns the crowd.
In the chaotic scenes that follow, people are seen running and screaming in panic as a woman yells "go, go".
