An armed passenger hijacked a plane flying from Siberia to Moscow earlier today, according to reports.
The man reportedly demanded the Aeroflot plane fly to Afghanistan.
The Boeing 737 with 76 people on board was en route from Surgut in western Siberia to Moscow when the hijacker made his demand, say reports.
The crew "persuaded" the man to land in oil capital Khanty-Mansiysk to refuel to fly before flying to Afghanistan.
Footage from TV360 showed the plane landing in the city.
Armed officers in balaclavas rushed on board and detained the man.
