This is the bizarre moment an Indian holy man exposed himself to a skeptical female TV reporter - to prove he is an authentic mystic.
The follower of the secretive Naga Sadhu sect - whose followers spend all their time naked in a rejection of materialism - was being interviewed by the woman for Hindi TV.
The devotee agreed for the interview and wrapped a ‘lungi’ around his waist to avoid showing his genitals to the camera.
In the footage the man can be heard mumbling that he has been under oath for 12 years, living in a complete state of nudity as mark of the rejection of the materialistic life.
But moments later, the female reporter suggested that the man was ''not a true Naga sadhu'' as he was now wearing clothes.
She asks The reporter asks why he is wearing clothes as Naga sadhus are supposed to be naked. In response the sadhu pulls away his robe in a bid to prove his ascetic status - showing his penis to the woman as well as the assembled crowds.
