Surveillance footage captured the moment an elderly man used his cane in an attempt to fight off a would-be robber in broad daylight.
And now, we need your help identifying the suspect who was prowling outside a restaurant on the 500 block of Auto Center Drive late last month.
As the 70-year-old victim was walking out of the business and making his way to his car, the suspect snuck up from behind and tried to snatch the victim’s wallet and car keys.
The elderly man attempted to stop the suspect with his cane but fell to the ground.
The suspect ran away and left the busy shopping center on a bike. Witnesses describe the suspect as a man in his 20s with combed back hair. He’s seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
As for the victim, he was treated and released from the hospital for minor injuries.
