A Taco Bell employee was captured on cellphone video berating a customer who complained about his food and was ultimately held back by her coworkers as she attempted to punch him.
The customer at the Miami, Fla., Taco Bell captured the female employee attempting to swing at him after he had allegedly complained about his overcooked chalupa, a $2.89 fried flatbread filled with beef and toppings, which he ate.
“I felt like I was violated as a customer ’cause the customer is always right,” Francisco Hernandez told Miami news station WSVN.
“The chalupa was very hot, overcooked, but again, I was so hungry I ate it, and all the stuff just fell on the paper,” he said. “I just claimed that the items were not prepared correctly, and then I mentioned my waiting time was past normal.”
Hernandez said that his complaint caused the cook to come into the dining area, pick up the box that his food came in and throw it at him. He then left the restaurant.
