Thugs beat up a paramedic in Russia

"The paramedics who came on a call were beaten up by a whole group of young people. One of the doctors is on sick leave, and only an administrative case has been initiated against the rebels, providing for a fine of up to a thousand rubles (US$ 15 ) or 15 days of arrest. There are hundreds of such cases across the country, and the idea of toughening the responsibility for the attack on doctors still remains on paper."



The footage from the official video recorder installed in the ambulance shows what unfolded. A paramedic is led to a guy who has been injured during a friendly altercation. one man gets aggressive and the paramedic get hit. He succeeded in laying down the offender, but it was not possible to fight off the whole crowd. A partner tried to calm down the drunken youth, but only managed to do so much.



"The participants of the incident were detained and taken to the police station for investigation. The attackers were previously convicted residents of the city.



The detainees were unable to explain why the ambulance crew was attacked by them, saying that on that day they had had a hard drink and couldn't remember anything. Meanwhile, the battered paramedic needed medical help himself and was sent for outpatient treatment."
