Terrified workers use fire extinguisher to scare off hungry giant bear

Terrified workers used a fire extinguisher to keep a hungry wild bear at bay after it got a whiff of their cooking and tried to get inside their canteen.



The animal invited itself to lunch after the aroma of food wafted its way and tried climbing through a window at a remote industrial facility.



The workers and canteen staff screamed and banged cutlery to try and scare it off.



But the half-ton wild bear was unmoved and intent on climbing inside for a meal, posing a major threat to the lives of those in the canteen in Kamchatka region in eastern Russia.
