At least two employees may have been exposed to a lethal toxic substance at Facebook's headquarters, it has emerged.
Emergency services and the FBI swooped on the base in Menlo Park, California, after a package sent to the mail room was deemed suspicious today.
Authorities are assessing whether the material inside is sarin.
Sarin is a "human-made chemical warfare agent classified as a nerve agent", according to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
Buildings have been evacuated and emergency services remain at the scene.
The publication reports Menlo Park Fire District says the two people are not showing any symptoms of being poisoned at this time.
