Pedestrian In The Crosswalk Dies When Struck By A Car

The Network published footage from the registrar of the Peugeot car, which became a participant in the fatal accident that occurred last Wednesday evening, July 31, on Cosmonauts Avenue in Yekaterinburg.



Judging by the video, the driver of the car tried to slip the intersection onto a yellow traffic light signal - at the moment when he almost passed the intersection of the streets the red light was already on, and a pedestrian crossed the trajectory of his movement.



The driver of the Peugeot noticed too late a man who had come out from behind a different car and could not avoid a collision.



From his injuries, the victim died in hospital.



As reported by local media , the downed pedestrian entered the roadway at a prohibitory signal.
