An Australian motorcyclist has been thrown from his bike during an international racing event, forcing him to run off the road as other competitors shot past.
Remy Gardner, 21, from Sydney, had six laps to go in the Austrian Moto2 Grand Prix event on Sunday, when he clipped the back of another racer and crashed to the ground.
Terrifying footage showed Gardner sitting dazed in the middle of the track before a swarm of oncoming riders desperately tried to dodge him at speed.
