A bouncer has been jailed for 16 weeks after throwing a reveller out of a bar so hard he crashed into a wall — on the opposite side of the street.
Timothy Crump, 36, was jailed after a court was shown the CCTV footage of the incident which left the victim with a dislocated elbow and a head wound.
Crump, who had been a doorman for 10 years, launched the drinker from a city centre pub after he had been "abusive" to staff, a court heard.
Alison Whiteley, prosecuting, said the victim had been at a works Christmas party when staff told him he had to leave because the bar was closing at 3am on December 22 last year.
