An evil boyfriend filmed himself preparing a noose to hang his girlfriend during three hours of torture.
Stefan Carr punched and acted out a mock hanging on Bethany Marchant, which was filmed on the CCTV he had installed in the house.
The 28-year-old also threatened the mum-of-one with a knife and told her he was going to drive his van into a reservoir and drown her.
Carr, of Carlyle Crescent, Castleford, West Yorks, is now serving 11 years and three months in prison.
He pleaded guilty to attempted grievous bodily harm on Ms Marchant and two earlier assaults against a former partner.
Leeds Crown Court heard the attack on Ms Marchant began at Carr’s home in Carlyle Crescent, in the early hours of Sunday 5 May, 2019.
