Shocking surveillance video shows the moment armed gunmen stormed a Mexican hospital and hauled away a patient — who was later found dismembered, according to Mexican news reports.
The chilling footage obtained by news agency Aristegui Noticias shows more than a half-dozen armed men searching rooms in the General Hospital of Salvatierra in southern Mexico on Nov. 21 while holding a security guard at gunpoint.
The gunmen — described by the news outlet as “hitmen” — can be seen entering a room at the far right and hauling a patient out of the room on a stretcher, video shows.
They then leave the hospital — with the goon who is holding the security guard shoving the frightened watchman to the ground.
The unidentified patient was later found dismembered in a neighboring town, Aristegui Noticias reported.
It was unknown who the gunmen were — or why they targeted the patient.
According to the news report, armed men stormed two other hospitals — in Juventino Rosas and Apaseo el Grande — and kidnapped and killed patients who had been admitted with gunshot wounds.
