There are terrifying scenes that took place at a school in Wolfsburg: on New Year's Eve, more than 30 men rage at a school and record their destruction on a video. When the police arrive, the violence escalated.
A school in Wolfsburg was badly damaged on New Year's Eve. More than 30 men destroyed windows in the Westhagen district and threw fireworks into classrooms. When police officers arrived at the scene, they were also attacked with fireworks. A cell phone video, which the perpetrators apparently put online themselves, shows the severe devastation at the Albert Schweitzer High School. The police temporarily arrested four suspects between the ages of 18 and 23.
When the police arrive at the scene of the operation, the emergency services were shot at with rockets, the police say. It is not the only incident of violence against the police on New Year's Eve. There were also attacks against emergency services in Frankfurt and Hamburg. In Leipzig, left-wing extremists tried to arrest the helmets and attacked them while they were already on the ground.
