Newark – Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that occurred on Route 40 on Wednesday.
Shortly after the accident, a witness took to Facebook Live to show the scene of the accident.
The video, viewed by First State Update, shows good samaritans helping several people in an overturned vehicle. As the video progresses a man involved in the crash, obviously distraught, begins pacing and walking in circles. The man then appears to stab himself in the neck.
Within seconds, four women, leave the overturned vehicle and rush to the man’s side. At one point a woman removes her shirt to apply pressure to the man’s neck. The women appear to have medical training.
At this early stage of the investigation, it’s not clear if the man survived his injuries. It’s also unclear what injuries the patients in the overturned vehicle suffered.
