An out-of-control SUV slammed into a Smoothie King in Fairfield Friday evening.
Surveillance video from the Smoothie King shows the SUV careening out of control before it's launched into the store on Michael Lane and another car. Video from inside shows the SUV crashing into a food prep area.
The driver appeared unhurt. He is seen trying to check on the people in a car and inside the restaurant.
One employee suffered minor injuries, according to police.
The driver was cited for reckless operation.
