Footage released on Tuesday by the Dutch Police shows the discovery of shipping containers believed to be torture chambers, in Wouwse Plantage, near the Dutch-Belgian border.
The raid was conducted on June 22, six men were arrested suspected of kidnapping and hostage taking.
Police entered the soundproof containers and discovered a dentist chair with handcuffs, bullet proof vests, police clothing knives and tools.
The French and Dutch authorities discovered the suspected torture site after infiltrating the communications network EncroChat on April 22. They put the site under close observation and decided to act as the torture chambers neared completion.
EncroChat, which has been taken down, allowed users to send messages, which delete themselves after a certain time on the recipient's phone. It is known to have been used by criminals worldwide.
