WEST VILLAGE, NY — Police are seeking the public's help to identify a man who stabbed a 52-year-old on Monday in the West Village.
A 52-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the chest and neck by an unidentified male after engaging in some sort of verbal argument, according to police. The incident took place at 222 West 14th Street.
The knife-wielding man knocked the 52-year-old to the ground before attempting to stab the victim multiple times.
The slasher then fled on foot down 14th Street and has not been found since, said police. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is 20-30 years old, 5-feet, 11 inches, 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black dress, pink bandana, black stockings and dark colored sneakers, according to police.
