From the man filming and being harassed:
This was at a restaurant that had pretty harsh COVID restrictions, where their entire restaurant was closed except for an opening at the front door where they served customers. As a result of this format, everyone lines up on the sidewalk outside of the restaurant and waits for their turn in the line. I was waiting in line, was about 3rd in place out of 5 people when I see this woman walk up to the store. Instead of waiting in line, she goes straight to the window and asks about her order, obviously bypassing/cutting the entire line/queue. I have only ever 'confronted' one other line cutter in my life, and it was a male who also pretty much just reacted angrily.
Anyway, all I said was 'Did you cut the line?' and then she pretty much just started raging right there, yelling at me for fucking with her or whatever. The video captures probably a good 40% of the upfront encounter, but there was a good 3-5 minutes where she just sat in her car in the parking lot and was yelling to herself in anger.
Moral of the story? I'm not really sure. It seems to be that you should just let people cut in line or else you might get yelled at...or worse. If you think you're safe to 'confront' someone for cutting in line, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, don't risk your safety.
I also want to note that this woman did threaten me, which is what got me to start recording. She said she was gonna find her friends or whatever and come hurt me, not even joking. I never intended to call the cops despite this, but if I got her threatening me on camera, I probably would send it in, but I didn't.
