LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Aerial video from the Louisville Metro Police Department shows a woman pointing a gun at a driver during a BLM agitation event on Hurstbourne/Shelbyville RD.
According to a post from the department's Facebook, individuals were spotted causing damage to a vehicle at the traffic light around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
"During this event, a woman who was participating in the protest pointed a handgun at the occupant of the vehicle, placing him and others in extreme danger," the post read.
LMPD officials say officers were able to deescalate the situation and arrest the woman without incident.
Video from a protester shows a different side of the altercation. Footage shows the driver quickly merging into a turning lane where protesters were seen walking. There was an exchange of words between the driver and the agitator before the driver pulled out his firearm, that's when the agitator pulled out her firearm.
