SAN PABLO, CALIFORNIA — (@ppv_tahoe) Cell phone video shows a vehicle that had crashed against a concrete pillar and burst into flames on Interstate 80.
A group of people can be seen desperately trying to rescue two victims who were trapped inside the burning vehicle. One man even used a saw in an attempt to cut the car door open.
The driver was eventually pulled from the car, but Oakland PD says that person died later at the hospital. The CHP also says the passenger in the car died at the scene of this crash.
