STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A violent dispute on a commercial block in Great Kills involving one man wielding a hammer was captured on video this week as several people bore witness to the chaotic scene.
At one point, the armed man who looks to be middle-aged appears to feint a strike with the hammer, causing his younger adversary to flinch.
Seconds later, the younger man deals two violent blows to the head that drop the older man to the street.
