BRONX (WABC) -- Three people, including a teenager, were shot in the Bronx in broad daylight on Monday afternoon outside a subway station.
The shooting was reported on Grand Concourse and East 170th Street around 3 p.m. while terrified witnesses watched.
Witnesses told police the three victims -- ages 16, 22 and 23 -- were walking down the street when a man approached them with his gun drawn.
According to witnesses, the suspect approached the victims from behind, said "hey" and then opened fire on the street.
The 22-year-old was shot four times: in the shoulder, twice in the arm and once in the stomach.
The 23-year-old was shot twice: in the arm and in the leg. The 16-year-old was shot in the leg.
All of the victims were found in the stairwell of the subway station.
The 22-year-old was taken to Lincoln Hospital while the younger victims were taken to St. Barnabas.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
