Massive Explosion Rocks Madrid, Destroys Buildings, Unknown Number of People Dead

A large explosion occurred in Madrid, Spain on Wednesday afternoon, destroying a building belonging to a church and filling the streets with smoke.

The cause of the explosion in Puerta de Toledo is not known as of yet, but emergency services have warned the public to stay clear of the area for now.

Video footage taken moments after the explosion shows a building gone up in smoke, with debris from the explosion running all the way down the street.
