Metro Police have released surveillance video that captured the moment a 29-year-old man was fatally shot on Sunday at a gas station in Antioch.
According to MNPD, Alexis Chacon went inside the Twice Daily Market on Cane Ridge Road around 2 a.m. Sunday.
The video shows Chacon walking out of the gas station and towards the gas pump. A gray/silver-colored Chrysler 300 sedan pulls up and two armed men get out of the car and approach Chacon.
“Detectives theorize that the men may have been trying to rob Chacon of his car, although the motive has not been determined,” Metro Police said in a press release.
After the suspects shot Chacon, they fled the scene in the vehicle.
