A young man set himself on fire in front of the entrance to Jenin governorate, this evening, Tuesday, before he was controlled and transferred to the hospital for treatment, without clarifying the reasons.
Eyewitnesses reported that a young man approached the governorate gate, threatening to burn himself, as he was carrying a "lighter" in his hands, and when the security and civil defense personnel tried to dissuade him and prevent him from doing so, he set himself on fire, which led to his injury and injuries.
The civil defense report stated that three of the agency’s employees suffered varying burns, ranging from moderate to severe, and all injuries were transferred to nearby medical centers in the city for treatment.
The details of the accident were not clear yet.
