The video, filmed in the city of Longyan in Fujian Province on April 25, shows an out-of-control buffalo smashing into a boy and throwing him into the air.
The attack happened after some children were seen teasing it by poking its stomach with sticks before running away.
The angered beast is seen chasing a boy before bucking and running over him. The boy hides under a car and is hears saying "I am sorry brother buffalo, please do not hit me."
The buffalo seems to accept the apology and leaves the boy alone.
The child was lucky to get away with only a few scratches.
