A 19-year-old woman was fatally hit by a bus in the center of Katowice. The circumstances of the accident are explained by the police and the prosecutor’s office. The 31-year-old driver was sober.
The tragic accident took place on Saturday before 6 am in the area of Mickiewicza and Stawowa streets in Katowice. – Preliminary findings show that a 31-year-old bus driver hit a 19-year-old girl. The woman died on the spot – said in an interview with TVN24, sub-commissioner Agnieszka Żyłka, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Katowice.
An investigation team is working at the scene.
