The stress over vaccine passports kicked up a notch this Friday, October 15, 2021 in front of the Pierre Zobda Quitman hospital in Fort-de-France. Police forces and demonstrators oppose each other. Three people were arrested according to the police.
On the one hand there are security forces stationed at the entrances to Pierre-Zobda Quitamn hospital of the CHU and on the other, the demonstrators chanting “released yo“(Release them). Several hours after the arrest of two people on the site in the middle of the day, the tension is still palpable.
The gendarmerie vans are blocked by demonstrators who wish to prevent the transport of those arrested. However, it seems that the latter are no longer there.
