Puerto Rico- A woman was assaulted at approximately 12:27 p.m. this Wednesday on Barbosa Avenue, in front of a fast-food establishment in Hato Rey.
According to the complainant, she was driving along the area when she noticed a vehicle following her. Further down the same avenue, the vehicle blocked her path. A woman then got out of the vehicle, bat in hand, and smashed the front and side windows of the driver's side window.
The attacker then opened the door for the complainant and began punching her in the face. The victim suffered minor injuries to her face and arms.
The incident was captured on a video circulating on social media.
San Juan Technical Services Division personnel took 32 photos of the complainant's vehicle and the injuries she sustained.
The victim arrived at the Dr. Enrique Koppish Diagnostic and Treatment Center in the San José neighborhood, where she was evaluated. It was learned that the woman would request a stalking order.
