Drunk Man Nearly Kills His Friend With On Punch, Get Arrested For Attempted Murder

One of the two friends walking together on the road in Istanbul Bagcilar punched the other and knocked him unconscious. Then, his friend, whom he shook his head to come to his senses, was injured and taken to the hospital. The suspect, who was taken into custody, was arrested on the charge of 'attempting to kill deliberately'. The moments were recorded by the security camera.

The incident occurred on Sunday, January 16, at around 01:30 in Bağcılar Güneşli District. SP (24) from Uzbekistan, allegedly drunk, and his Turkish friend OC (38) were walking on the street together. OC fell on his back, when his friend SP suddenly punched him hard in the throat. After he passed out, OC's head was bleeding, which his friend lifted and left. It was claimed that SP, who had been waiting for a while at the head of his friend, whom he had knocked unconscious, told the people who got out of the car that entered the street that he did not recognize the injured person on the ground and that he found it like that while passing through the street.

In his first statement to the police, SP said that he punched his friend OC for swearing at him. The suspect, who was transferred to Bakırköy Courthouse after the completion of his procedures at the police station, was arrested by the court he was brought to for the crime of 'attempted to kill deliberately'. It was learned that OC, who was being treated in the hospital, was likely to have a brain hemorrhage.
