LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A Las Vegas High School was placed on a hard lockdown for the second day in a row.
“It’s blowing my mind that this keeps happening,” said Desert Oasis parent Laplac Brown.
Clark County School District Police Lt. Bryan Zink confirmed that the action was taken after fights were reported on campus.
According to a parent letter sent by CCSD, additional police units will be on campus on Thursday.
Clark County School District Police say an adult and juvenile have been arrested in connected with fights on the campus of Desert Oasis High School.
The adult suspect was booked at the Clark County Detention Center for battery, fighting-affray and breach of the peace. The juvenile was booked for fighting-affray and breach of the peace. A total of 9 juveniles were cited, according to police.
