A 21-year-old man charged over an alleged road rage attack that unfolded outside a school in Melbourne's west has been denied bail.
Shane Couch appeared in Sunshine Magistrates' Court today after allegedly jabbing a wooden stake through a driver's open window while shirtless, around school pick-up time outside Melton Secondary College yesterday.
Police allege the driver left the car and the pair exchanged blows as terrified witnesses ran from nearby cars.
Victoria Police said the altercation led to three other cars colliding "nose to tail".
No one was seriously injured, however, witnesses told 9News they were shaken.
Mr. Couch was arrested and charged with multiple offenses including reckless conduct endangering life, affray, and assault with a weapon.
