BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department released bodycam footage Thursday in connection to a deadly shooting on February 19, 2022, involving officers and a domestic violence suspect in south Bakersfield.
When officers arrived they confound a man in front of the home and that's when two officers fired their guns.
The man was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. No one else was hurt.
The officers involved were identified as Officers D. Leopardi-Lacombe and G. Sanford.
Both have been officers for approximately one year.
They remain on modified duty pending a determination by the Chief of Police as to the appropriateness of their actions under state law and department policy.
The identity of the man who died will be released later by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
Good post you shared, by reading this, i got some new point.
Thanks Tom. I was told last week that I was like the Bob Ross of podcasts. I must stop waving paint brushes around when I present ;-)
Another reason for having a podcast is you can use it to present on the types of topics that wouldn't be likely to be accepted by conference organisers. For example, something that is only 20 minutes long, or 200 minutes long, or a topic that is very esoteric.
