LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police report a man is dead and an innocent bystander is recovering from injuries after an early morning shooting at the Fremont Street Experience Sunday.
An area that many know to be typically filled with party-goers and tourists, was flooded with police, including homicide investigators, after the violent shooting.
Police told News 3 that the incident started with a fight inside one of the area's casinos. The altercation eventually spilled out onto the Fremont Street Experience where the gunshots rang out.
Investigators say following the fight, a person pulled out a gun, and shot and killed a person, with the gunfire also hitting an innocent bystander. Both were rushed to UMC, with the person involved in the fight pronounced dead, and the bystander recovering in the hospital.
