Disturbing footage has emerged of a man who appears to be forcing a woman's head down into a public fountain before two other men come to her rescue.
The man, who is 52 years old but has not been identified, has been charged with attempted murder following the incident on Tuesday, August 9 at a park in Valencia, Spain.
The altercation reportedly happened after another male offered to take a photo of the pair while they were standing together in the water but ran away with the man's phone as soon as he gave it to him.
Local media reports said that believing his acquaintance had helped orchestrate the theft, the man turned on her and attempted to drown her in the fountain.
