This is the disturbing video uploaded to social media showing a trans-man chasing a young boy around, trying to grab him to drag him into the bathroom of a moving train.
The translation posted with the video:
The trans person is saying the kid didn’t pay and is insisting he pay(what for? No idea, the transgendered in places like this demand money or send curses upon you). The guy making the video keeps saying what are you doing in there to the “lady” (he calls her maasi or mossi which is like Aunty) and says to others that she took him in there to take his money but what if she takes something else (this is the point where that guy raises his eyebrows with a comical look whilst standing outside the stall).
Dozens of posts claim the boy was sexually assaulted inside the bathroom.
The recent cases of young boys being abused in Mumbai have briefly brought to the forefront conversations around sexual abuse of boys. As an aspect of gender violence, it has been constantly under-reported and under-recognized.
One in every two children interviewed (53.22%) reported being victims of one or more forms of sexual abuse that included severe and other forms. More than half (52.94%) of those who reported abuse were boys while 47.06% were girls.
