This video may at first seem like it was filmed in a third-world country, perhaps, a favela in Brazil on somewhere in the Congo but actually, this madness happened at the Urban Meadows apartments in Baton Rouge, LA.
A violent mob showed up at one of the apartments, several females armed with what looks like sticks or baseball bats and proceeded to beat a couple of the women who lived there. The crowd seemed very pleased and egged them on.
Eventually, one of the victims grabs her gun, and the balance of power shifts as the mob dispersed, sending the assailants running. One of the assailants is seen getting pistol-whipped.
In July, Baton Rouge community leaders hosted a violence prevention panel aimed at finding a solution to gun violence.
According to East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore, there have been 67 murders so far in 2022. 55 of those were within the city limits of Baton Rouge.
